There is a hatch door on the bottom for easy cleaning and a pre-drilled hole in the mounting back to attach to a tree with a screw.
The finish on the wood is eco-friendly, plant-based Rubio Monocoat. The frame and roof are made from Eastern Cedar, the mounting back and squirrel guard is made from oak. The perch is a piece of driftwood from the Hudson River.
